The SF1000G trailer mounted portable automatic sheep and goat feeder has been designed to resist the negative effects of harsh outdoor conditions. You can count on years of faithful service from our 100% STAINLESS STEEL construction in critical areas such as the upper and lower troughs.
It’s engineered to handle up to 36 head and includes adjustable trough “guards” to keep dispensed feed dry and prevent animals from climbing into the troughs. The 1,000 lb. capacity hopper dispenses a wide range of feed types into four 6-foot long troughs giving you 24 linear feet of trough space.
The simple programmable timer controls the adjustable spinning plate allowing you to set the amount of time and feed dispensed for up to six feedings per day. And a 12 volt battery system, recharged by a solar panel, ensures that the feeder never runs out of power. This means your livestock are always fed on time – every time with our automatic sheep & goat feeder. A vibrating motor comes standard on every feeder to ensure good feed flow even with “sticky” feed. Stabilizing legs are located at the outside corners of the feeder for stability during operation.
Highway reflectors ensure safe highway towing. A feed shut-off feature is included so that no feed is lost in transit from the feed mill. And a removable tongue protects you from theft and gives your livestock full trough access.
